Blogging homework due Friday, 7th July
Explanation Texts
This week we have been learning about explanation texts. Your homework this week is to write a 2-3 paragraph letter to your teacher explaining why you have NOT done your homework.
Can you include some CAUSAL CONJUNCTIONS (because.....due to the fact that....owing to the fact that......since....as a result....so......subsequently.....consequently.....therefore.....this meant that.....this led to.....) to help to link your ideas.
I am looking forward to reading your excuses and explanations!
I have not done my homework because due to the fact that i kept on playing with my friends. Consequently,i also had to go out and i had plans .Another reason us that every time i'm late and the slowest at dressing myself up. Subsequently, i always jump on my trampoline and normally i forget every think. Owing to the fact that i have not done my homework is because i always get really tired.
ReplyDeletethe next day we got to do are spellings but i was to interested in talking to my friends. In addition to this ,i never liked Mr John and when he was talking i never paid attention to whet he was saying and when he asked me i never answered him because i never new what to say.
The final day we had to bring our homework so i brang a blank pice off paper hoping he would not notice ,but i got detention .sadly i never felt disappointed in my life and also i got grounded.
Excellent excuses! Remember your capital I please.
DeleteI have not done my homework because i have been the last one to get ready because my hole family has used the bathroom and i get late for school and it led to that i get detention everyday.Another reason why i have not done my school work it is because my friends come over and play with me and i forget everything.
ReplyDeleteOn Monday i got detention because i didn't do my work. Subsequently,i have not done my work because when Mr.John was talking i didn't pay attention to him and got everything wrong. Mr.John came over to me and looked at my book and also flicked over my pages and there was nothing on any
of the pages.
It was the last day and i had a book but it was not for my homework. I brang my book and i got in big trouble and got 5 detentions i a row. As a result i never do my homework because the reason is that i always forget.

ReplyDeleteI have not done my home work because I didn’t have any time left. I was doing my after school clubs. Surely, you would agree it is important to have hobbies and interests. Consequently, my after school club took longer, so then I had my
dinner and at seven o’clock I went to bed. Subsequently, I’m able to concentrate longer at school the next day as my brain has had a good rest. The other day
I was on holiday and came back really late. Yesterday my tp link wifi broke down
so then I bought a new one but it came a day later.
Now this led to an awful lot of trouble, I had five detentions so then I made more excuses. Therefore, I have not wanting to come to school. The previous week I was out of school because my mum and dad took the night shift for the whole week. I feel the work we do at school is more than enough and out of school we should be free to relax, play and have hobbies.
I hope you understand my reasons for not doing my home work this week.

ReplyDeleteDear Mr Goddard I haven't done my homework because my little sister always uses her little pet hamster called Godzilla but it's written in capitals and has 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 explanation marks at the end of the name. She uses her to tear apart my homework.Also the Mr GUGFUL Goddard and MR PIRATE Pirahbai aliens always take my homework and eat it all up.Therefore this led to me not doing my homework.When they ate it they said"blah blah blah."
Consequently,another reason why I haven't done my homework is because I was busy playing with my friend's on my Xbox 360 live for 9000000000 hours.I also didn't do my homework is because this old Grammer who was a wolf and turned me into a giant pacman that never dies so I will stay this age forever and ever.

DeleteI did not do my homework because I had to baby sit my cousin till 9:00. My dad asked me to come with him to Tesco but our car broke down. I have been ill from the past few years. My crocodile ate my homework. I was to busy playing with Lego. I did not know I had homework. I wasn’t here when the homework was given out. I was tired so I went to sleep.

I did not do my homework because I was too busy to even care about it. In addition to that,my mum was on the laptop and the notebooks were all used up. My sister was on our second laptop and dad was on 3rd.
Also, I have lots of clubs and I do not listen to my mum. Another reason is that I am very lazy and don't bother to do it. I just read books,draw pictures or do colouring.
Therefore, I could not do my homework. Thank you for not giving me a detention.

I have not done my homework because I was playing on my Xbox1. Owing to the fact, I was so excited to play my new games I had not got any time. Since that day I have another reason that is I called my best buddies Rajan, Amarrn, Nithilan, Filip and Tom to play football.
I am really sorry, It is going to take me one more week because I need to plan the day but please give me one last chance mathlatics, blogging and bug club will be done.
